‘‘I loved having the chance to truly tune into myself and my body during Charlie’s workshop. I came away feeling so relaxed, but also empowered and strong. I’m so glad I decided to take the time for myself. It was the most time I’ve had to focus on myself since becoming a mum and I really felt the benefit’’
- Lizzie
Join me for my Women’s Summer Yoga Workshop to embrace the energy and beauty of summer. You’ll be guided through practices to re-energise and revitalise the body and mind, as well as a Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation), to leave you feeling rested and restored.
My workshops allow time and space for you to drop into your practice and yourself more deeply. Life can be so busy that it’s easy to put ourselves at the bottom of our to do list. This workshop will put you first and give you time to:
Create space and ease in your body with warming, releasing movements to soften any aches or tension
Find space mentally and calm your mind
Relax and rest so you feel renewed and re-energised
Arrive home to yourself and your needs
Find a sense of balance and steadiness
‘‘Charlie’s workshop enabled me to properly sink into the practice & separate from the outside world & its commitments. She created a very safe & nurturing space for us all’’
- Kat
The Venue
Westbury Wildlife Park offers a calm, peaceful space to escape from everyday life and connect with nature. If you haven’t been before it’s a true haven of tranquillity! The river runs directly underneath the yoga studio, and in summer we can practice with the doors wide open to let the light, air and energy of summer in, and connect with the sounds of nature outside.
The Morning
We’ll start the morning by settling into our practice and the space. Pressing pause on the busyness of our lives and pressing play on connecting into how we are feeling on the day. The morning will offer you time and space to use as you need to, whether this be to move, to be still or to rest (or something else)! We’ll use breathwork to help anchor us into the present moment and to calm the nervous system, before coming into a flowing movement practice that will ease the body and mind. As we move towards the end of the practice we’ll slow things down with movements and postures that are held for longer, helping to prepare the body for deep rest. We’ll finish with a guided Yoga Nidra (relaxation) practice to help you rest, relax and replenish.
You are welcome to stay for tea, snacks and sharing at the end of the workshop and enjoy being in the natural space that Westbury Wildlife Park offers. All equipment is provided at the studio, so there’s no need to bring anything with you unless you’d prefer to practice on your own mat.
The park also has a cafe serving drinks, snacks and light bites if you decide to stay a little longer.
